An award is something given to a person in recognition of his excellence in a certain field. Teaching Excellence Awards 2018 (TEA - 2018) was an effort of MT Research and Educational Services (MTRES) in association with Buzzingg and Indian Achievers Story to recognit the best teachers (Nation Builders) for their special contribution in respective domain. Meet one of the awardees, Vipin Vageriya, who has been honoured with TEA-2018 as Promising Teacher.

Mr. Vipin Vageriya is a pediatric nurse and was born in Banswara, Rajasthan. He is an honest example of hard work and excellence. Currently working as an Assistant Professor and Head of Department of Child Health Nursing at Manikaka Topawala Institute of Nursing, Constituent of Charotar University of Science and Technology (CHARUSAT), Anand, Gujarat. He has also paid his valuable services as a clinical instructor in Udaipur for 6 months and has worked as a tutor in IMTNE, Jaipur for a time period of 18 months. He started working under department of Child Health Nursing at Manikaka Topawala Institute of Nursing as a Lecturer and worked there for 1 year after which he was promoted to his current designation that is assistant professor cum head of department.
Such great heights are achieved with not only hard work but constant determination. He is truly an ambassador of courage and has an immense self confidence cultivating positive energy and truthfulness in his life. Fearlessness is a very firm state of mind with which you can accomplish new levels of achievement in life and this is the simple agenda of Mr. Vipin Vageriya. Behind this excellence follows a great deal of research and reading. He qualified B.Sc. nursing from Jiwaji University, Gwalior in 2006. Then he completed M.Sc. nursing from RGUHS, Bangalore in 2010. He is also a PhD Scholar. He completed diploma in naturopathy and yogic sciences from Delhi University in 2008.

With 10 years of teaching experience he has written a book named “Text book of Anatomy and Physiology for Nurses & Allied Health Sciences”. Being a great admirer of seminars and workshops he has attended and participated in over 20 in total. As it is said the best gift is to share knowledge, he has done and share his knowledge through lectures in workshops. He had undergone with GVK EMRI 4 days training for Basic Life Support, ECG and Pharmacology. He has also been in charge of review of many nursing and competitive book.
Along with being the head of department he is also the member of editorial board and is a reviewer of multiple reputed journals. He is also an honourable district trainer for Neonatal Resuscitation Program. Being an important part of the university work he has also been involved with NAAC and KCG University Level peer team for assessment. Along with this he is also a valuable member of professional working bodies like TNAI, NRSI, IANN and many others. One of the biggest achievements and honour he can been congratulated for in his life is the grant of 2.97 lakh for a research project about prevalence of Thalassemia among women.
With his ultimate moto in life i.e being a nurse educator and a renowned researcher in the field of paediatric, he has already commenced with the preparations. He has participated in multiple workshops inclusive of Human Ethical Research, Outcome based Educational Pedagogy, Innovative Teaching Methods. He motivated his students to participate in online courses like NPTEL, SWAYAM, Moodle, Schoology and many more.
