Nursing is one of the most noble professions out there and isn’t everyone’s forte. However, Mr. Binu Joe does it graciously and is therefore being recognised for his excellent work and honoured with the MTRES Research Excellence Awards 2019. He is currently working as a Principal cum Professor at C. U Shah University, Gujarat. He started his career as a clinical instructor and then went on to work as a lecturer, an assistant professor, and then a vice principal. He learnt various administrative skills during this course and was given the responsibility of handling a college at the mere age of 35, which he manages smoothly.

He completed his B.Sc. Nursing in 2004 from RGUHS, is a gold medallist in M.Sc. Nursing in Pediatrics in 2009 from Vinayaka Mission University, and is presently pursuing his Ph.D from SRK University, Bhopal. He has received a distinction in research presentations. He has published over 13 research papers in national and international journals and has presented 5 papers in national and international conferences. He has organised various national level conferences. He has also published the Textbook of Pediatric Health Nursing for GNM Students. He has attended various state level as well as national conferences.

He is a member of the editorial board of various journals. He is working as a resource person for Nursing Symposium on Biomedical Waste Management, for Pediatric Emergency Conference, and for state level CNE conducted on challenges of neonatal care in Dinisha Patel College of Nursing, Gujarat. He is also working as the practical examiner for Child Health Nursing for Kerala University. Needless to say, Mr. Binu Joe has a number of achievements under his belt and is continuing to conquer more and more challenges successfully day by day.
